Young, Rangers finalize five-year, $80 million extension
Michael Young and the Texas Rangers finalized an $80 million, five-year contract extension Friday. The deal runs from 2009-13 and includes no-trade provisions. The three-time MLB All-Star shortstop is slated to make $3.5 million this season, and the club will exercise its $5 million option for 2008.
