Albuquerque tops fittest city list
Albuquerque's mayor says the city has a lot of options to keep people fit everything from gyms to hiking and biking. New Mexico's largest city was listed as the fittest city in the United States in March's issue of Men's Fitness magazine, up from a 13th-place showing last year.

Portland in Top 10 of fittest cities
Portland is the ninth-most "fit" city in the country, according to Men's Fitness magazine.

Y begins water fitness sessions
The Huntington Family YMCA is offering a new water fitness class. The class involves upbeat, energetic movements in the pool. Kelly Ruiz, who has recently joined the Y staff from Minnesota, will serve as the instructor.

Parks department offers baby fitness classes
The Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation will be sponsoring Baby Fitness Classes at Dynamic Child Fitness Center, 5151 Brick Blvd., March 16. During the classes parents and caregivers will interact with the child and develop exercises to help with motor milestones.
